FIRE HYDRANT FLUSHING NOTICE
Thursday, May 18, 2017 from 8am to 3pm
The Village of Glasford is having a Clean-up Day on May 20, 2017, from 7:00am to 11:00am for Glasford residents, with dumpsters located near the maintenance shed behind the Village Hall located at 305 S. Oak Street, Glasford IL.
Also, “Spruce-Up Day” will be going on this day from 8:00am to 10:00am. If anyone is interested in volunteering to pick up garbage throughout the Village limits, please contact Anna Godby at 309/642-1604 or Village Clerk at 309/389-5152.
The Village Hall is open Monday through Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm, closed for lunch.
The Village of Glasford was incorporated in 1868 as non-home rule. It is governed by the
Village Board which consists of the President and six Trustees. Member's terms
are four years and municipal elections are held in the odd-numbered years.
At the 2012 Census, Glasford's Population was 1,022 people.
Board meetings are held on the third Thursday of every month at 7:00pm.
Meetings are held at the Village Hall, located at 305 S. Oak Street.
The public is encouraged to attend.
